Dr.Li Hongmei，research fellow, Institute for International Strategic and Security Studies, Center for South Asian Studies, SIIS, she is expert of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of China (2023-2026). she got her M.A. in International Relations from Institute of South Asia Studies, Sichuan University in 2015, She obtained her Ph.D degree on International Relations from the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University in 2019. From Sep.2017 to Aug.2018, as a visiting scholar, she visited South Asia Program of School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University. From May 2024 to Oct.2024, she worked at the Centre for China Studies(SIIS-DU),Dahka University,Bangladesh, as the executive deputy director. Her research focus on India`s foreign policy, China`s relations with South Aisa countries, anti-terrorism and the regional security in the Indian Ocean. She has already published several academic and commentary articles in several renowned journals and media.
