Professor Md. Selim Reza serves as senior visiting scholar at SIIS during the period of July 10-31, 2026.

Professor Reza currently works as the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka, contributing to faculty governance, academic policy implementation, and quality assurance initiatives. He also led the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, University of Dhaka as Chairman and strengthened the departmental academic and research capabilities.

Professor Reza’s research interests focus on Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS), including biodegradable microspheres, microencapsulation technologies, and sustained-release formulations aimed at improving therapeutic outcomes. His additional interests include Translational and Regulatory aligned research that integrates pharmaceutical innovation with quality assurance, clinical relevance, and public health impact.
