Dr. Qiu Haiyan is an assistant research fellow. She works at the Center for Russian & Central Asian Studies, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS). She obtained her master’s degree from the University of International Relations and a doctorate from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. She was also a post-doctoral fellow at Peking University. Her research focuses on Russia, Central Asia, and Sino-Russian relations.
