Chen Xue is currently an assistant research fellow at the Center for International Communications, SIIS.

A former researcher of the Institute for World Economy Studies, Chen Xue graduated from Wuhan University in 2012, majoring in Law (minor in French). During this period, she went to Université d'Auvergne Clermont-Ferrand I in France for exchange and study in international law. In 2013, she received a Master's degree in International Banking and Finance Law from City, University of London. 

Chen Xue joined the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies in November 2013.
