Yu Haijie is an assistant research fellow at SIIS. She received her Ph.D. degree in Diplomacy from the Institute of Middle East Studies, Shanghai International Studies University. She also did postdoctoral research at Fudan Institute of Belt and Road & Global Governance. Her research interests include: political economy and diplomacy of Middle Eastern countries, the Belt and Road Initiative and the Middle East, etc.
