Li Xin
Senior Research Fellow Institute for International Strategic and Security Studies Center for International Communications Center for European Studies

Prof. Li Xin is senior fellow at the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) and executive director of the SIIS Center for International Communications. She is executive editor-in-chief of the SIIS Report, a multi-lingual think tank report series that aims to initiate dialogues between prominent Chinese scholars and international counterparts, while presenting perspectives of the leading Chinese think tanks on global issues. She also holds the associate editorship of the China Quarterly of International Strategic Studies (CQISS), a flagship journal on China’s diplomacy hosted by SIIS.

 

Before working as senior fellow of the SIIS Institute for International Strategic Studies, Prof. Li Xin was associate editor-in-chief of the Contemporary International Relations, a flagship journal hosted by the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) and was engaged for many years in exchange programs with the EU, US, Middle East and African countries and traveled extensively in these areas for seminars and projects. Prof. Li Xin earned her M.A. from the Graduate School of International Studies, now Joseph Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, US.

 

Prof. Li Xin is the producer and executive editor of the most recent report Russia-Ukraine Crisis: Where Do We Go from Here? – Perspectives from Chinese Think Tanks. She was the lead translator of Ten Questions: American Misunderstandings about China (ISBN-13 : 978-1844645770; Publisher : Paths International Ltd)
