Feng Shuai was born in Holingol, Inner Mongolia, He graduated from East China Normal University with a doctor's degree. Currently Feng Shuai is the deputy director of Institute for International Strategic and Security Studies and the secretary-general of the Center for Cyberspace International Governance. He is also a part time researcher at the Russian Research Center of ECNU, deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Society of International Relations. He is a leader of research projects supported by the National Social Science Foundation and other ministries. He has published 3 academic monographs, and published dozens of various academic papers. His main research interests are theoretical research on AI and international relations, Russian and Eurasian research, and China's neighboring security research.
