Institute for Public Policy and Innovation Studies

The research of comparative politics and public policy has always been the key development content of domestic universities and research institutes. The Institute for Public Policy and Innovation Studies is a service agency for the construction of "Politics Level Subjects" of SIIS, the forefront of outreaching research field, the intermediary of communicating research of international and domestic problems, and the service platform of integrating the existing research resources of SIIS. The main work scope and research focus include: 1) the development of cosmopolis and region: researching the strategy of urban internationalization，city cluster  and regional development; 2) global public policy: researching energy, health, immigrants, environment, resources, etc; 3) comparative politics: researching comparative government regime and political party; 4) public affairs management: researching international social management, non-profit organizations, local foreign affairs and the social management of network era.
