Associate Professor, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh Dr. Abul Fazal Wazir Ahmad Visits SIIS

In the afternoon of September 1, 2026, Prof. Li Kaisheng, Vice President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), met with Dr. Abul Fazal Wazir Ahmad, Associate Professor and Director of BBA Program, School of Business, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. Prof. Li first expressed his warm welcome to Prof. Ahmad’s visit to SIIS. Then the two sides exchanged views on the research plan of Prof. Ahmad, communication between universities and think tanks, and the economic development in Bangladesh, etc. Invited by Centre for China Studies (SIIS-DU), Prof. Ahmad will serve as senior visiting scholar at SIIS during the period from August 30 to September 28.

Participants from SIIS included Liu Zongyi, Director of the Center for South Asian Studies, Chinese Director of Centre for China Studies (SIIS-DU), and Tan Chenyi, Research Fellow of the Center for South Asian Studies.
