Director and CEO of Media Information Culture Hub Co., Ltd Abdullah Khurram Visits SIIS

On the morning of August 31, 2026, Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS’s Academic Advisory Council, met with Mr. Abdullah Khurram, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Media Information and Culture Hub Co., Ltd., Afghanistan. Mr. Khurram delivered a letter from Hamid Karzai, former President of Afghanistan, to Professor Yang Jiemian. The two sides had discussions on issues such as the international landscape, China-Afghanistan bilateral cooperation, and international communication.

Dr. Liu Zongyi, Director of the Center for South Asian Studies, and Dr. Shen Ruohao, Research Fellow of the Center for South Asian Studies, attended the meeting.
