Senior Research Fellow of Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies Mohammad Ashique Rahman Visits SIIS

In the afternoon of March 17, 2026, Prof. Li Kaisheng, Vice President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), met with Mohammad Ashique Rahman, Senior Research Fellow of Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS). The two sides exchanged views on the research plan of Mr. Rahman, China-Bangladesh relations, the new government of Bangladesh, etc. Invited by Centre for China Studies (SIIS-DU), Mr. Rahman will serve as senior visiting scholar at SIIS during the period of 15 March—8 April.

Participants from SIIS included Liu Zongyi, Director of the Center for South Asian Studies, and Tan Chenyi, Research Fellow of the Center for South Asian Studies.
