U.S. Consul General in Shanghai Scott Walker Visits SIIS

On February 9, 2026, Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Academic Advisory Council of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), met with Scott Walker, U.S. Consul General in Shanghai. The two sides engaged in candid exchanges on issues including the future development of China–U.S. relations.

Mr. Zhang Chong, Research Fellow at the Center for American Studies of SIIS, also participated in the discussion.
