Delegation from the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy of the UAE Visits SIIS

On February 9, 2026, a delegation from the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) of the United Arab Emirates, led by Dr. Narayanappa Janardhan, Director of Research and Analysis, visited the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS). Prof. Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS, met with the delegation. The two sides exchanged views on international developments and geopolitical issues, and reached a shared understanding on further strengthening bilateral academic exchanges.

The AGDA delegation included diplomatic trainees as well as academic and administrative staff members. Participants from SIIS included Wu Chunsi, Director of the Center for American Studies; Jin Liangxiang, Director of the Center for Middle East Studies; Zhou Yiqi, Liu Xin and Yu Haijie.
