Professor Chowdhury, Senior Visiting Scholar of Centre for China Studies (SIIS-DU) Has Finished His Visit to Beijing

From 25 to 26 September, Professor Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Senior Visiting Scholar of Centre for China Studies (SIIS-DU), visited Beijing for academic exchanges.

 

On 25 September, Professor Chowdhury visited International Cooperation Center of National Development and Reform Commission and Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). He exchanged views with relevant experts and students, and was interviewed by a journalist from China International Communications Group (CICG).

In the afternoon of 26 September, Professor Chowdhury visited School of Foreign Languages, Peking University. He was received by experts including Professor CHEN Ming, Dean of School of Foreign Languages; Professor TANG Mengsheng, Founding Director of the Pakistan Study Center; and Associate Professor ZHANG Yaguang, Deputy Dean of School of Economics. The two sides held discussions on topics such as international cooperation and exchanges, and collaborative development in the fields of artificial intelligence and financial technology.
