Delegation from the Vietnam Institute for Defence International Relations Visits SIIS

On August 22, 2025, a delegation from the Vietnam Institute for Defence International Relations (IDIR), led by Senior Colonel Bui Xuan Anh, IDIR Deputy Director, visited the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS). Vice President Li Kaisheng received the delegation and chaired a roundtable discussion. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on China–Vietnam relations as well as current international and regional developments.

The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Song Yinghui, Program Officer & Associate Research Professor, Department of International Exchanges, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR). Participants from SIIS included Zhou Shixin, Director of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, along with Research Fellows Xue Chen, Ji Yixin, Li Yanliang, and Wang Tianchan.
