Prof. Jessica Chen Weiss from Johns Hopkins University Visits SIIS

On July 29, 2025, Prof. Jessica Chen Weiss, David M. Lampton Professor of China Studies at the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, visited the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS). She was received by Prof. Yan Anlin, Chairman of the Academic Council at SIIS. The two sides held in-depth discussions on Taiwan Question in China–U.S. relations and other issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was also attended by SIIS scholars from the Institute of Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macao Studies, including Shao Yuqun, Director; Tong Liqun, Deputy Director; and Ji Yixin, Research Fellow.
