Prof. Jessica Chen Weiss from Johns Hopkins University Visits SIIS

On July 17, 2025, Prof. Jessica Chen Weiss, David M. Lampton Professor of China Studies at the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, visited the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS). She was received by President Prof. Chen Dongxiao and Chairman of the Academic Advisory Council Prof. Yang Jiemian. The two sides held in-depth discussions on China–U.S. relations, the international order, and other issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was also attended by SIIS scholars, including Wu Chunsi, Director of the Center for American Studies; Zhao Long, Deputy Director of the Institute for International Strategic and Security Studies; Ye Yu, Deputy Director of the Institute for World Economy Studies; Cao Jiahan, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Public Policy and Innovation Studies; Zhang Chong, Research Fellow at the Center for American Studies; and Wang Tianchan, Research Fellow at the Institute for Public Policy and Innovation Studies.
