Professor of the Department of International Law of Belarusian State University Alena Douhan Visits SIIS

On April 11, 2025, Chen Dongxiao, President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), held a discussion with Alena F. Douhan, Professor of the Department of International Law of Belarusian State University, UN Special Rapporteur on the Negative Impact of Unilateral Coercive Measures on the Enjoyment of Human Rights, during her visit to the institute. The two sides exchanged views on topics related to the contemporary threats and challenges to multilateralism and multilateral diplomacy. 

The discussion was attended by Niu Haibin, Director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies; Zhao Long, Deputy Director, and Tan Chenyi, Research Fellow, of the Institute for International Strategic and Security Studies; Xue Lei, Research Fellow at the Center for American Studies; and Zhang Qiyue, Assistant Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies.
