Ambassador Hannes Hanso of Estonia Visits SIIS

On the morning of April 8, 2025, President Chen Dongxiao met with His Excellency Mr. Hannes Hanso, Estonian Ambassador to China.

The two sides exchanged views on international hotspot issues, including China-Europe relations and the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Marti Mätas, Deputy Head of Mission of the Estonian Embassy in China, accompanied the delegation. Participants from SIIS included Zhu Juhua, Director of the Department of International Exchanges and Cooperation; Zhao Long, Deputy Director of the Institute for International Strategy and Security; and Zheng Yingqin, Senior Research Fellow of the Center for Maritime and Polar Studies.
