Canada’s Ambassador to China visits SIIS

On March 5, 2025, Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Advisory Council, exchanged views with Ms. Jennifer May, Canada’s Ambassador to China, on current international hotspots and China-Canada relations.

Ambassador May was accompanied by Ms. Jennie Chen, Consul General of Canada in Shanghai, and Mr. Christopher Loan, Consul for Political, Economic and Public Affairs of the Consulate. Ms. Zhu Juhua, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, and Dr. Zhou Shengsheng, research fellow of the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies from the SIIS also attended the meeting.
