President of the Heinrich Böll Foundation Dr. Imme Scholz Visits SIIS

On February 20, 2025, Dr. Imme Scholz, President of the Heinrich Böll Foundation visited the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies with Mr. Arthur Tarnowski, Chief Representative at HBS Beijing Representative Office; Ms. Katrin Altemeyer, Senior Program Officer (HBS Berlin); and Ms. Ella Soesanto, Program Officer (HBS Berlin). Ms. Zhu Xinxin, Program Officer of the HBS Beijing Representative Office, accompanied the delegation.

Zhang Yinghong, Director of the Center for European Studies at SIIS, received the delegation. Both sides engaged in discussions on China-Europe relations, global governance, and regional hotspot issues. Dr. Yu Hongyuan, Director of the Institute for Public Policy and Innovation Studies; Long Jing, Deputy Director of the Center for European Studies; Cao Jiahan, Senior Researcher at the Institute for Public Policy and Innovation Studies; as well as Assistant Research Fellows Jiang Zunze, Wang Tianchan, and Yao Le participated in the meeting.
