Advisor to the Iranian President Mehdi Sanaei visited SIIS

On 6 December, Mehdi Sanaei, Advisor to the Iranian President and Director of Iran's Eurasian Institute, visited SIIS and met with Chen Dongxiao, President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), and Li Kaisheng, vice president of SIIS.

The two sides exchanged views on the Sino China-US relations, Ukraine, Syria, Iran and the Gulf States relations.

Dr. Zhao Long, Deputy Director of the Institute for Global Governance of SIIS，Dr. Jin Liangxiang and Dr. Zhou Yiqi, Research Fellows from the Center for West Asian and African Studies of SIIS attended the meeting.
