Delegation from NEU Visits SIIS

On May 14, 2024, Dr. Li Kaisheng, Vice President of the Shanghai Institutes of International Studies, received a delegation from the New Era University of the Philippines, led by Dr. Carlos Tabunda, Dean of the School of International Relations. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the current challenges and future cooperation between China and the Philippines, crisis management in the South China Sea, Philippine diplomacy after the US-Japan-Philippines summit, and other international issues of mutual concern. Dr. Xue Chen, Research Fellow at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, and Dr. Zhang Qiyue, Assistant Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies, accompanied the exchange.
