Australian First Assistant Secretary of DFAT East Asia Division Visits SIIS

On March 1, 2024, Mr. Daniel Sloper, First Assistant Secretary of the East Asia Division, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade visited Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with Mr. Sloper and exchanged views on the current China-Australia relations and regional and international situation. Mr. John Williams, Australian Consul-General in Shanghai accompanied the visit. Dr. Shao Yuqun, Director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hongkong & Macao Studies and Dr. Li Yanliang, Research Fellow of Institute for Foreign Policy Studies at SIIS participated in the meeting.
