SIIS Delegation Visits the United States

From January 28 to 31, 2024, SIIS President led a delegation to the Washington, DC. During the visit, SIIS, Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) co-organized a symposium on “Building Healthy, Stable, and Sustainable China-US Relations: in Commemoration of the 45th Anniversary of China-US Diplomatic Relations”. Experts from both countries had a frank and constructive dialog. The SIIS delegation also paid a visit to the Chinese Embassy in the United States, where the delegation members were cordially received by Ambassador Xie Feng. The delegation also held talks with experts from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the US-China Business Council, and the Brookings Institution on issues related to China-U.S. economic and trade relations.
