Ambassador of Singapore to China Tan Hai Chuan visits SIIS

On 11 August 2023, Mr. Tan Hai Chuan, Ambassador of Singapore to China, visited Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Academic Advisory Council of SIIS, met with Ambassador Tan and his colleagues. Both sides exchanged views on international dynamics and cooperation between Shanghai and Singapore. Mr. Chua Teng Hoe, Consul General of Singapore in Shanghai, Mr. Dion Loke Cheng Wang, First Secretary (Political) in the Embassy in Beijing and Ms. Tham Wanrong, Deputy Consul-General of Singapore in Shanghai, also visited SIIS.

Ms. Zhu Juhua, Director of the SIIS Department of International Exchanges, Dr. Zhou Shengsheng and Mr. Zhang Chong, both Assistant Research Fellows at SIIS, participated in the meeting.
