SIIS Vice President Li Kaisheng Meets with World Bank Delegation

On August 2, 2023, SIIS Vice President Li Kaisheng met with the team of the World Development Report 2024 and had discussions with Mr. Somik Lall, Staff Director of the World Development Report 2024 and other economists on the topics of middle-income countries’ innovation and development, China's economy, and energy transition. Research fellows of the institute for World Economy Studies at SIIS including Dr. Ye Yu, Dr. Wang Yuzhu, Dr. Xue Lei and Dr. Jiang Lixiao participated in discussions.

This is another exchange following SIIS’s interaction with the WB team during its delegation’s visit to the United States in May this year. Both sides look forward to closer communication and cooperation in the future.
