Delegation of the African Leadership Excellence Academy (Ethiopia) Visits SIIS

On July 24, 2023, Prof. Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS, met with  delegation of the African Leadership Excellence Academy (Ethiopia) led by Dr. Wondeye Legese Wakjira, Vice Chief of the Academy and Head of Operations. The two sides introduced their institutes and exchanged views on China-Africa relations and academic cooperation etc.

The members of the delegation included Hiwot Alemayehu Ferede, Vice Chief of the Academy and Head of Programs, Mitiku Chanie Azmera, Director of the Reform Office, Tilahun Arega Kassa, Director for Think Tanks and Consultancy Service Research.

Prof. Ye Yu, deputy director of the Institute for World Economy Studies, Prof. Zhao Long, deputy director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies, Dr. Long Jing, deputy director of the Center for European Studies, Prof. Zhou Yuyuan, deputy director of the Center for West Asian and African Studies, Dr. Zhu Ming, research fellow, Center for West Asian and African Studies of SIIS also participated in the meeting.
