Dr. Scott Kennedy from CSIS Visits SIIS

On July 19, 2023, Dr. Scott Kennedy, senior adviser and Trustee Chair in Chinese Business and Economics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) visited SIIS and had a roundtable discussion with SIIS scholars. Prof. Li Kaisheng, Vice President of SIIS attended the meeting and delivered opening remarks. 

Prof. Li Kaisheng warmly welcomed Dr. Kennedy’s visit to the SIIS. He also said that academic exchanges between China and the US thinktanks could play a positive role in promoting the bilateral relations. 

Dr. Kennedy gave a keynote speech on De-risking and Prospects of US-China Relations and interacted with SIIS experts on hotspot issues.
