Professor Yang Jiemian Meets with Dr. Levente Horváth

On July 5, 2023, Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS’s Academic Advisory Council met with Dr. Levente Horváth, Director of the Eurasia Center at the John von Neumann University of Hungary. The two sides had discussions on furthering institutional cooperation by carrying out joint research, co-organizing seminars, contributing to each other’s academic journals, and sharing information. The two sides also exchanged views on China-US relations, China-EU relations, the Belt and Road Initiative and China-CEEC cooperation. Ms, Zhu Juhua, Director of the Department of International Exchanges, Dr. Long Jing, Deputy Director of the Center for European Studies, Dr. Ye Yu, Deputy Director of the Institute for World Economy Studies and Dr. Yang Li, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Quarterly of International Strategic Studies participated in the meeting.
