President Chen Dongxiao Meets with Consul General of Uruguay in Shanghai Mr. Marcelo Clovis Magnou Perez

On July 5, 2023, SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with Mr. Marcelo Clovis Magnou Perez, Consul General of Uruguay in Shanghai. The two sides had a discussion on China-Latin America relations, high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and academic exchanges and cooperation between China and Uruguay etc.

Prof. Niu Haibin, director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies of SIIS, Prof. Lou Xiangfei, senior fellow of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, and Dr. Lai Yuan from the Center for American Studies participated in the meeting.
