President of Zeppelin University in Germany Visits SIIS

On 29 June 2023, Prof. Klaus Mühlhahn, President of Zeppelin University in Germany, paid a visit to Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS). SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with him and had exchanges on China-Germany relations, world economy and bilateral cooperation between Zeppelin University and SIIS. Dr. Ye Yu, Deputy Director of the SIIS Institute for World Economy Studies and Ms. Yu Yue from the Executive Office attended the meeting.

As a well-known German Sinologist, Prof. Klaus Mühlhahn has a passion for Chinese history and culture, and has conducted in-depth research on the history of modern Sino-German relations, especially the theoretical issues related to the history of Sino-foreign relations, cultural exchanges between China and the West and Western colonialism.
