Former National Security Adviser of Pakistan Moeed W. Yusuf Visits SIIS

On April 10, 2023, Mr. Moeed W. Yusuf, Former National Security Adviser of Pakistan, visited the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies and met with President Chen Dongxiao of SIIS.

Mr. Moeed W. Yusuf attended the Roundtable on “China-Pakistan Relations in a Period of Turbulence and Transformation: Challenges and Prospects” afterward and delivered a keynote speech. The roundtable was moderated by President Chen Dongxiao. Other speakers include Dr. Wang Jian, Director of the Institute of International Studies at Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Mr. Jiang Feng, Chairman of Shanghai International Studies University Council, Dr. Wu Chunsi, Director of the Institute for International Strategic and Security Studies at SIIS, Ms. Zhang Juan, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Commerce Development Research Center, Dr. Zhang Jiadong, Director of the Center of South Asian Studies at Fudan University, Mr. Wu Ting, Editor-in-chief of Sixth Tone and Editorial Board Member of The Paper, and Dr. Liu Zongyi, Secretary-General of China and South Asia Center at SIIS.

Members of the Institute for International Strategic and Security Studies and some young research fellows of SIIS joined the discussion.
