New Zealand Consul General in Shanghai Visits SIIS

On 29 March 2023, Mr. Ardi Barnard, New Zealand Consul General in Shanghai, visited Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. SIIS President Chen Dongxiao exchanged views with him on think tanks cooperation between Shanghai and New Zealand, the relationship between China and New Zealand and so forth. Ms. Alex Smithyman, Lead Adviser in North Asia Division of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Mr. Wilson Chau, Deputy Consul General, joined the meeting. Ms. Zhu Juhua, the Director of the Department of International Exchanges, attended the meeting as well.
