Chairman Yang exchanged views with Malaysia-China Friendship Association Sabah Delegation and Consul-General of Malaysia in Shanghai

On March 8, 2023, Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Advisory, was invited to have a meeting with Dr. Ei Sun Oh, President of Malaysia-China Friendship Association Sabah, and exchanged views on China-Malaysia relations, and how to strengthen cooperation between the two sides on trade, culture, and tourism. Mr. Syed Farizal Aminy Bin Syed Mohamad, Consul General of Malaysia in Shanghai, Mr. Steven C.K. Liau, Vice President of Malaysia-China Friendship Association Sabah, Ms. Zhu Juhua, Director of the Department of International Exchanges, and Mr. Zhang Chong, Assistant Researcher at the Center for American Studies, also attended the meeting.
