SIIS Signs MoU with IGOB

On the morning of July 2, 2026, President Chen Dongxiao of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), met with Dr. Gustavo Pacheco Villar, Founding President of the Instituto Internacional de Gobierno (IGOB), and Dr. Rosa Coaricona Mendoza, Rector of IGOB Campus China. The two sides reached consensus on further strengthening practical cooperation and exchanges between the two institutions.

Following the meeting, SIIS and IGOB signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Both parties expressed expectations for deepening collaboration in areas such as academic exchanges, personnel visits, and joint research in the future. Dr. Niu Haibin, Director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies and Director of the Center for Latin American Studies at SIIS, and Dr. Huang Fangfang, Deputy Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Exchanges at SIIS, attended the signing ceremony.
