President Chen Dongxiao Meets with Vietnamese Consul General in Shanghai Tran Huy Hung

On May 19, 2026, Chen Dongxiao, President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), met with Tran Huy Hung, Consul General of Vietnam in Shanghai. The two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including the development of China–Vietnam relations and bilateral academic cooperation.

Participants from SIIS included Zhou Shixin, Director of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, and Xue Chen, Assistant Research Fellow at the Center.
