SIIS President Chen Dongxiao Meets with SCO Deputy Secretary General Sohail Khan

On November 17, 2025, Professor Chen Dongxiao, President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies met with Mr. Sohail Khan, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The two sides had discussions about strengthening cooperation among SCO members in areas such as think tanks, young talent, arts, sports and films. Mr. Shakerov Ulan, officer at the SCO Secretariat and Dr. Niu Haibin, Director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies at SIIS participated in the meeting.
