On October 13, 2025, the “Shanghai Nanjing Plus” 2025 Delegation continued its visit in Hefei City, Anhui Province, with stops at Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd., NIO Automobile Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd., the Institute of Advanced Technology of the University of Science and Technology of China, and Linxi Community, where they engageding in exchangdiscussiones with representatives from these each enterprises and organizations.

That morning, the delegation arrived visited at Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Gotion High-tech). Gotion High-tech is a globally competitive new energy battery supplier of new energy batteries and provider of green energy solutions provider,. Its with main businesses including lithium iron phosphate materials and battery cells, ternary materials and cells, power battery packs, energy storage battery packs, and battery management systems. The company’sIts products are widely used in new energy vehicles, ---including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and specialized vehicles, ---and the companyit also provides green energy system solutions for energy storage clients.

Delegation members focused on the company’s international projects, raising questions about Gotion High-tech’s operations in the U.S. and Argentina, which Mr. Chen responded to in detail. The entire roundtable discussion meeting was conducted in a lively, candid, and transparent atmosphere, further enhancing the delegation’s understanding of the company and its related industries.

That morning, the delegation visited NIO Automobile Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd., located in the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Shushan District, Hefei. Established in 2014, the company is a key manufacturer in China’s smart electric vehicle industry.

The delegation began by visiting the NIO battery swap station on the factory premises, experiencing the battery replacement process for NIO electric vehicles firsthand. They were then guided by company representatives,observing the intelligent assembly-line processes of electric vehicles up close. The visit concluded at the delivery and exhibition center, where various NIO models were on display. Some delegation members eagerly sat inside the vehicles, personally experiencing the technological achievements of China’s electric vehicle industry.

That afternoon, the delegation visited the Institute of Advanced Technology of the University of Science and Technology of China (IAT-USTC), located in Hefei’s High-Tech Zone.

The delegation began with an overview of IAT-USTC’s work in the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, followed by a guided tour of the innovation exhibition. The exhibition hall showcased a wide range of displays, with applications in artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and related fields drawing particular attention from the delegates.
Linxi Community
That afternoon, the delegation visited Linxi Community, located in Hefei's High-Tech Zone, which serves as an important hub for returning overseas talent and high-level foreign professionals. As the first internationalized community in Anhui Province, Linxi Community’s development achievements have received numerous honors from both Anhui Province and Hefei City in recent years.

The delegation began their visit atfirst visited the Overseas Personnel Service Station in Linxi Community, where they received an overview of the community and engaged with residents at the center. They then proceededwalked to the community canteen to interact with residents participating in community activities. Some delegates also joined in, experiencing Chinese calligraphy and creating personalized bleaching- painted fans by hand.
Finally, the delegation visited the “Heart-to-Heart Linxi” overseas unity post, where they participated in roundtable and group discussions with Chinese and international attendees. The exchange not only allowed the delegates to meet new friends from around the world but also deepened their understanding of grassroots community governance and cross-cultural integration in China. After the event, the delegation and Linxi Community residents took a group photo together.
