2025/10/14
On the afternoon of October 11, 2025, the “Shanghai Nanjing Plus” 2025 delegation visited the Caohejing Hi-tech Park, touring the Caohejing-Rockwell Automation Net-Zero Smart Manufacturing Co-Creation Center and the Shanghai Humanoid Robot Innovation Incubator, and held an exchange session with young employee representatives at the Caohejing Hi-tech Park Library.
Visit to the Caohejing-Rockwell Automation Net-Zero Intelligent Manufacturing Co-Creation Center
On the afternoon of October 11, 2025, the delegation visited the Caohejing-Rockwell Automation Net-Zero Smart Manufacturing Co-Creation Center, located in the Caohejing Hi-tech Park. Rockwell Automation, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S., entered the Chinese mainland market in 1988 and established its Shanghai presence in the Caohejing Hi-tech Park in 2009. In 2023, Rockwell Automation and the Caohejing Hi-tech Park jointly launched the Caohejing-Rockwell Automation Net-Zero Smart Manufacturing Co-Creation Center, an innovation platform within the Caohejing Tech Oasis. The platform adopts a new incubation model of “end-to-end innovation integration”, focusing on three key dimensions: industrial upgrading, sustainable development, and cross-sector innovation. Its primary technological areas include artificial intelligence and big data, industrial metaverse, industrial Internet of Things and manufacturing operations management, advanced process control, and robotics applications, aiming to create benchmark intelligent and green application scenarios. At the same time, the center collaborates with cross-sector ecosystems to build a “1+5+N” innovation empowerment platform, providing enterprises with comprehensive services in technological innovation, talent development, public listing and international expansion, digital experiences, and industrial empowerment.

At the robot dog exhibition area, the robot dog demonstrated a range of movements---jumping, rolling over, and running. The members stopped to watch, with some taking photos or videos on their phones, others posing for selfies with the robot, and many asking the staff about the technologies behind it.
Next, the delegation members visited the humanoid robot exhibition area, where a humanoid robot walked over to greet them with a friendly handshake. They also sampled strawberry-flavored ice cream prepared by the robot, enjoying it as they listened to the staff’s presentations. The visit concluded in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.
