President Chen Dongxiao Attends the E-Launch and Discussion of the “State of Southeast Asia: 2023 Survey Report”

On February 9, 2023, Professor Chen Dongxiao, President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, attended the E-Launch and Discussion of the “State of Southeast Asia: 2023 Survey Report” hosted by the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute and shared his views on ASEAN‘s response to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, cross-Strait tensions, and China’s influence in Southeast Asia. Mr. Choi Shing Kwok, Director and CEO of the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute delivered welcome remarks and moderated the discussion. Other discussants include Prof, Tommy Koh, Singapore’s Ambassador-at-Large, Mr. Shivshankar Menon, Former National Security Adviser of India, and Ms. Wendy Cutler, Vice President and Managing Director, Washington, D.C. Office, Asia Society Policy Institute.
