President Chen Dongxiao and Professor Yang Jiemian participated in the trilateral dialogue among American, Russian and Chinese scholars

On April 14th 2022, Prof. Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS and Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Academic Advisory Council of SIIS, participated in the trilateral dialogue hosted by the European Institute of Peace. The discussion focused on Ukraine crisis, European and global security architecture at large. The participants included Amb. Thomas Pickering, former Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs and former U.S. Ambassador to the Russian Federation, and William Ury, senior expert of the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School from the American side, as well as Andrey Kortunov, Director General of the Russian International Affairs Council from the Russian side. Zhang Chong from the Department of Research Management and Zhu Shicheng from the Department of International Exchanges also took part in the dialogue.
