SIIS Co-organized a Virtual Dialogue with Hungarian Think Tanks

On February 15, 2022, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) co-organized a virtual dialogue with the Eurasia Center of John von Neumann University and the Hungarian Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade (IFAT).
Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Academic Advisory Council of SIIS, Mr. Levent Horvath, Founder and Director of the Eurasia Center and Mr. Márton Ugrósdy, Director of IFAT gave an introduction of their respective organization, shared their views on possible cooperation areas. Experts from three organizations also had an in-depth discussion on “China-Hungary Pragmatic Cooperation in the Context of Big Countries' Geo-Strategic Competition”.
Mr. Bence Makkay, Consul of the Hungarian Consulate General in Shanghai participated in the meeting. On the SIIS side, Ms. Zhu Juhua, Director of the Department of International Exchange and Dr. Long Jing, Deputy Director of the Center for European Studies joined the discussion.
