U.S. Ambassador to China Visits SIIS

  

On September 14, 2023, Ambassador of U.S. to China, H.E. Nicholas Burns visited Shanghai Institutes for International Studies with Mr. Scott C. Walker, Consul General, Mr. Daniel Delk, Vice Consul General at the Consulate-General of U.S. in Shanghai. SIIS President Chen Dongxiao and Chairman of the SIIS Academic Advisory Council Yang Jiemian met with Ambassador and exchanged views on international situation and China-U.S. relations. 

Dr. Shao Yuqun, Director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hongkong & Macao Studies, Ms. Zhu Juhua, Director of the Department of International Exchanges, Dr. Zhao Long, Deputy Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies, Dr. Lu Chuanying, Deputy Director of the Institute for Public Policy and Innovation Studies, Dr. Su Liuqiang and Mr. Zhang Chong, research fellows of the Center for American Studies participated in the meeting.
