The information technology has fundamentally changed the world’s economic and political order. It is not sufficient that scholars and researchers only regard this technology as an limited element influencing their fields of studies. Instead, they should see this transforming force from a panoramic perspective. The book treats the cyberspace as its research subject, dates back the history of cyberspace, and explores its attributes in the light of power and resources from the three dimensions of technology, market, and politics. Using international economics and politics as the theoretical frameworks, the author analyses the power structure in the cyberspace and its influence over resource allocation and the flow of wealth.
