Founder of Paris Peace Forum Justin Vaïsse Visits SIIS

On May 30, 2024, Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of Academic Advisory Council of Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), met with Dr. Justin Vaïsse, Founder and Director-General of the Paris Peace Forum. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics related to strategic competition and global governance.

Mr. Louis Belmont, Consul at the Consulate-General of France in Shanghai, accompanied Dr. Vaïsse on his visit. Other SIIS participants included: Dr. Zhang Yinghong, Director of the Center for European Studies; Dr. Zhao Long, Deputy Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies; Dr. Mao Ruipeng, Deputy Director of the Center for American Studies; and Ms. Sun Shasha from the Department of International Exchanges.
