French Ambassador to China Visits SIIS

On May 24, 2024, Ambassador of France to China, H.E. Bertrand Lortholary visited Shanghai Institutes for International Studies with Mr. Joan Valadou, Consul General, and Mr. Louis Belmont, Consul at the Consulate-General of France in Shanghai. Chairman of SIIS Academic Advisory Council Prof. Yang Jiemian met with Ambassador and exchanged views with him on China-France relations, China-EU relations, and international hotspot issues. Ms. Zhu Juhua, Director of the Department of International Exchanges, Dr. Long Jing, Deputy Director of the Center for European Studies, Ms. Huang Wenting of the Department of Research Management, and Ms. Sun Shasha of the Department of International Exchanges participated in the meeting.
