SIIS Co-hosts the Seminar on Redefining Strategic Stability between the US & China with CISS and HD

On August 25-26, 2022, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) co-hosted the seminar on Redefining Strategic Stability between the US and China in collaboration with the Center for International Security and Strategy at Tsinghua University (CISS) and Center for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD).

 

President Chen Dongxiao of SIIS and Mr. Eric Richardson, Senior Advisor in HD’s Asia programme delivered opening remarks for the seminar. Over twenty scholars from China and US held three joint zoom calls and had an in-depth discussion on existential threats facing China-US relations and political trust and strategic reassurance in strategic security and stability.
