Former Chinese Ambassador to Latvia visits SIIS

On April 8, 2016, Ambassador Yang Guoqiang, former Chinese ambassador to Latvia, member of the Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), visited SIIS. Ambassador Yang had a discussion with President Chen Dongxiao and Prof. Yang Jiemian, chairman of the Academic Committee of SIIS on promoting China-Europe relations, especially on Shanghai’s role in 16+1 cooperation.
